| McAfee Achieves Near Perfect 99.9% Detection Rates
|
ComputerBild, a leading German consumer technology magazine, ranked McAfee as the clear leader in a comparative test of 9 leading security vendors. ComputerBild called McAfee’s results:
"a fabulous detection rate of 99.9 percent"
The detection testing was conducted by AV Test.org, a leading independent firm testing and analyzing anti-virus and security products around the world. After putting each product through it paces with thorough testing on over half a million viruses, only 64 remained undetected by McAfee. In the words of ComputerBild:
"There's never been a program as good as that (McAfee) since the COMPUTERBILD Security Center started!"
